Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using GI Studio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to all users of the GI Studio mobile application and website.

2. Your Data Is Yours

Health and wellness logs you enter in GI Studio belong to you. You can export, delete, or revoke access to your data at any time. We do not sell your health data. We do not use your health data for advertising. Your data will not be transferred to a third party — including in the event of a business acquisition or bankruptcy — without your explicit consent.

3. What We Collect and Why

We collect only the data needed to operate the app: your account information, the health logs you choose to enter, and basic device/usage data. Third-party services we use to operate the app include:

• Supabase — secure data storage and authentication
• Apple Sign In — optional authentication
• Google Sign In — optional authentication
• Facebook Login — optional authentication

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We do not share your health logs with any of these providers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GI Studio only for personal wellness tracking. You may not:

• Use the app to self-diagnose a medical condition or make medication decisions without consulting a physician
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or interfere with the app or its infrastructure
• Submit false or misleading information

5. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. All health logs and personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. You may also request deletion by emailing hello@gistudio.app.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

GI Studio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security vulnerabilities. Health insights generated by the app are informational only and are not medical recommendations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GI Studio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any health decisions made in reliance on app data.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
